Cylinders
A twin set of 0.5 liter (3.53 cuft) mini scuba cylinders complete with filtered breathing regulators and mini pressure gauges suitable for a very shallow variant of SnorkelPlus diving limited to a depth not exceeding 2.5m (8ft).
The cylinders clip mount to the SnorkelPlus BCH but the cylinder straps required for larger cylinders are omitted. The active cylinder is unclipped for use when diving and reattached when snorkeling on the surface. BCH inflation is manual only when using cylinders of this size..
The cylinders are made of aluminium alloy with a gloss spray mirror finish. The filtered breathing regulators have food grade silicone mouth pieces.
Each cylinder weighs 1.08kg (2.38lb) and has a capacity of 0.5 liters at 1 Bar. At the cylinders working pressure working of 200 Bar this provides an air supply per cylinder of about 100 liters (3.53 cuft per cylinder at 3,000 psi). The total air supply provided by both cylinders is approximately 200 liters (7.06 cuft at 3,000 psi). Enough air, breathing normally at normal swimming exertion, per cylinder for about 5 minutes (10 minutes total) at a depth of 2.5m (8ft) with no reserve.

This adapter fits over a standard cylinder K, J or H valve and tightens onto the sealing O ring on the Yoke Insert. Please Note - The valve must be fitted with a standard G⅝ -14TPI BSP DIN to Yoke Insert.
Fill Adapter
The adapter has two uses.
Air Top Up
Attach to a large capacity cylinder (e.g. 15 Liter (100 cuft @3,000 psi)) for use as a donor air reserve to top up receiver 0.5 or 1 Liter cylinders.
This method will not completely fill a small cylinders as pressure balances out between the large donor and the small receiver. Fill top up pressure will diminish each time the process is repeated and air is consumed from the donor.
Air Fill
For use with an electric high pressure air pump or with a manual high pressure stirrup pump to fill a cylinder fitted with a standard K, J or H valve.
In practice only suitable for filling small cylinders with a capacity of up to about 3 liters with an electric pump and with a capacity of up to about 1 liter with a manual pump.
Specification
The maximum working pressure is 310 Bar (4,500 psi).
Package
Package includes the stirrup pump, a HP hose with connectors, a cylinder inflation adapter (for use with larger cylinders fitted with standard K, J or H valves fitted with yoke inserts) operating accessories and instructions.
